The gallery is currently showing work from Jane's studio by appointment and during open days.

There are no fixed opening hours. Visitors are welcome by appointment (call me on 01934 418198) and during opening times. Look out for the new display board at the end of the lane on Walliscote Road, when the doors are open to the public and no appointment is necessary.

West Country gallery specialising in original contemporary paintings, fine prints and sculpture. Regent Gallery shows the work of a select group of prominent and emerging West Country & Scottish artists, including owner Jane Cartney. The gallery is centrally located close to the beach, in converted 19th century stables off the High Street, in the town centre of West Coast sea-side resort, Weston-super-Mare.

The ethos behind Jane Cartney Art Studio & Gallery (formerly known as Regent Gallery): 'The business has been set up and is run on the principles of altruism, philanthropy and ethical business. Its purpose is to discover, support and promote the work of a small number of the most gifted, individual, and as yet little-recognised, professional West Country & Scottish living painters and sculptors. At present the Gallery is privately funded solely by the owner, Jane Cartney, and all profits are used to support the organic growth of the business'.. Jane Cartney Art Studio & Gallery is closely associated with www.janecartneyfineart.co.uk and WAPWA West Country Association of Professional Women Artists which adhere to the same ethical business principles.
